Official relationships of the IFMSA with the other organizations are based on health, education, science, social and humanitarian affairs. The decision to establish official relation with another organization can be made by the Executive Board and has to be approved by the General Assembly, or can be decided by the General Assembly and has to be pursued by the Executive Board.
Organizations that are in the official relations with IFMSA are our partners in the endeavor of Working Together for Healthier Tomorrow. There are a number of intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations which are IFMSA partners in a fruitful and enthusiastic collaboration. With most of the partners, the collaboration is very wide and intensive, therefore it seeks special attention. This is the reason why the IFMSA Executive Board appoints Liaison Officers for the respective organizations.
